Redgrave Business Cards – Explanation

Redgrave Partners LLPRedgrave Partners LLP, an executive search firm, approached Freestyle having already employed the services of a design company.

The founding partners of Redgrave Partners LLP decided to seek professional advice regarding all their print (letterheads, comp slips, business cards and report covers). A key aspect of the mandate involved ensuring their print was of the highest quality using specific detailing of the ‘R’ in their logo to be foil blocked on their stationery. Freestyle quickly established the correct grade of paper and finish required to convey the desired corporate image; test prints were carried out, small corrections and ‘fine tuning’ were made so that Redgrave Partners LLP were happy before the final order was placed. Freestyle were able to meet the client’s specific requirements whilst making them savings of over 40% compared with other businesses
in the selection process.

Print delivered includes high quality invitations for the official launch party, business cards, letterheads, compliment slips and report covers. Freestyle continue to supply Redgrave Partners LLP on all aspects of printing and have put online a bespoke web to print system specifically for their ongoing requirement of business cards.

As we have just rebranded ourselves, we couldn’t help but showcase our own stationery.

Our letterheads, compliment slips and invoices are all printed two colour both sides on 120gsm Vision Superior for a smooth finish that ensures a good solid colour reverse is achieved  with no ‘show through’. Our business cards are extra thick at 700gsm. We printed the frontsone colour on 350gsm Colorplan Cool Grey, the backs are foiled in a lime green on 350gsm  Colorplan Black. The two sides are then duplexed using an acrylic adhesive film which prevents the bowing you can get when using a wet based glue.

After meeting the Chief Executive of this luxury hotel chain, a bespoke high quality business card was desired to reflect the company’s attention to detail and passion for excellence. A  specific look and feel was required. Intaglio by Fedrigoni was chosen as the right card with it’s ribbed texture and bright white finish. However 350gsm was not considered thick enough so Freestyle duplexed the card with some matt laminated 350gsm silk to produce a 700gsm card with texture on one side and a smooth matt finish on the other.

The corners were ram punched to a radius to finish a business card not be forgotten.

Executive search firm Odgers Berndtson tasked Freestyle to print and supply a range of literature for their rebranding in 2009.

Freestyle produced over 215 sets of business cards, A4 foiled and embossed report covers, practice sheets, board papers and biographies for the prominent group. Freestyle have now designed new literature and have developed a bespoke online web to print system for the firm’s range of documents who amend, submit and track their orders online as well as having access to a picture portfolio of over 450 images.

The Chambers of Mark Love, a modern-thinking common law chambers, approached Freestyle to print their brochures and business cards.

Having a specific requirement of embossing on the business cards and a smooth uncoated feel to both cards and brochure, Freestyle suggested an Ivory board from Premier Beswick Paper as the right choice.

Altius Associates, a global private equity management firm, needed a high quality art catalogue for a high profile charity auction event.

A selection of limited edition prints were also required. The deadline was a factor as the date for the event was looming, whilst final changes were required to the artwork. Freestyle recommended the specification for all items which were well received and delivered on time!

As a stylish gastronomic Indian restaurant in the heart of London’s West End, a brochure was required to best illustrate the events and private hire services the venue offers for the  corporate sector during the festive season.

After an initial meeting, Freestyle suggested a handy wallet would be perfect to hold information cards relating to each service and event. The requirement for design was to relay some of the history behind the celebrated menus inspired by the cuisines of India’s Grand Trunk Road. Freestyle designed the wallet and 6 x A5 cards to make a pack the restaurant could be proud of giving to it’s clients.

Freestyle also put the packs together and fulfilled a mailout on behalf of the restaurant. Handling everything from design, print, finishing, collation, insertion into envelopes and mailing.

A memorable launch invite was required for the opening of Proud’s latest venue.

After discussions with their in house designer, foil blocking was decided upon being the right look to convey the exclusivity of the event. A tight turnaround was required and Freestyle managed all aspects to ensure delivery of the product on time.

Working with their designers, Freestyle have produced stationery, invitations, brochures, leaflets, lanyards and more. A simple requirement to convey the high profile nature for this organisation is reflected in using a range of finishes and paper stocks. Gold foil and matt lamination has been used on invitations. Photographic images are carefully reproduced on posters and brochures.
